Our Center for Teacher Leadership believes that one of the fastest ways to improve student learning is to support and develop the teachers themselves, transforming them into confident, passionate leaders.

To that end, the center has created a number of diverse programs, all designed to providing training and education that advance the profession of teaching.

The innovative RTR program, for instance, pairs teaching residents with experienced educators in our high-needs, hard to staff partner districts. This allows residents to experience the classroom first-hand and builds the infrastructure to support residents to be successful teachers in challenging schools.

Likewise, the center's Clinical Faculty Program connects top preK-12 teachers with School of Education students during the student teaching portion of their program, providing them support and mentorship during a time consistently pinpointed as the most important part of teacher preparation.
