The VCU School of Education is seeking applicants for:
Chair for our Counseling and Special Education Department
This is a 12-month, tenured position.
The Department offers doctoral programs in special education (Ph.D. in Special Education) and counselor education (Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Counselor Education); masters in counselor education and special education, as well as B.S.ED. in Special Education and undergraduate minors.
Faculty value interdisciplinary perspectives and methodologies, equity and social justice, and the preparation of counselors, teachers and interventionists for success in urban and high-needs environments.
