Department of Teaching and Learning Scholarship

The Department of Teacher and Learning Scholarship is awarded to a student who is enrolled in the teacher preparation program and plans to pursue a teaching career working with children and youth.

Available for:

Undergraduate and graduate students

Criteria

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be accepted into teacher preparation program
  • Must be enrolled in at least six credits each semester of the award year
  • Submit essay answering the following prompt: Define your unique under-served target population. Include skills, training, experience, and interest in working with target population. (Note: this will replace the regular application essay topic)
